Patent filed via Panoramix IP with number GB2613057.5 "Digital synthesizer instrument with infrasonic lamella oscillators" ABSTRACT A digital synthesizer instrument (100) includes at least one key assembly (101), each having a physical oscillator element (104) configured to vibrate at an infrasonic frequency, an actuation mechanism (102) configured to excite the physical oscillator element (104) in response to key actuation, and a vibration sensor (105) configured to capture vibrations and generate an analog signal representative thereof. Each key assembly (101) further comprises a dedicated preamplifier (106) and analog-to-digital converter (107), with all key assemblies streaming their digital signals simultaneously to a digital synthesis engine (111), which generates audio at a fixed chromatic pitch assigned to that key assembly. The instrument addresses the lack of tactile, expressive feel in existing digital synthesizers byintroducing physically vibrating lamellas as the gestural interface for synthesis control. Each lamella is a mechanical element that responds to key actuation, direct touch, pluck, and strike, coupling the musician's physical gesture directly to the synthesis engine.
